With his academic background and high referrals in Strategic Communication and Reputation Management, Salim Kadibesegil, leads Corporate Reputation Management to generate awareness and have a place in Turkey. Between the years of 1999-2004 Salim represented Turkey as a Board member of International Communication Consultancy Association, ICCO, based in London. He was also a consultant for one of Turkey’s top management magazines’, Capital, “Most Admired Companies” and “Corporate Social Responsibility” research projects. Salim represented Turkey in “The Reputation Institute”, headquartered in New York. He used to be an active chair in Turkish Corporate Governance Association, Bugday Ecological Transformation Association. His company Orsa Strategic Communication Consultancy, was also the first member of Global Reporting Initiative in Turkey. He has been a faculty member at the School of Communications, Bahcesehir University, Istanbul/Turkey since 2008. Kadıbesegil regularly writes articles for monthly Brandmap and quarterly IN magazine of Turkish Ethics and Reputation Society.
Salim Kadıbeşegil has been awarded as Hall of a Fame by the ICCO (International Consultancies Organisation) Turkish Chapter İDA in March 2017 for his contribution to the profession. Kadıbeşegil is also an Advisory Board member of INBREC (International Brand and Reputation Community)
Salim is also founder and advisory board member of the RepMan Reputation Research Center, a not-for-profit platform which aims to increase awareness on reputation management.
Within 45 years of experience Salim Kadibesegil has ten books which are widely accepted as source books in business and academics.

SALIM M. KADIBESEGIL C.V.
His company ORSA Strategic Communications Consultancy Inc. was founded in Izmir in 1990 and moved its headquarters to Istanbul in 1992. Ankara branch office was opened in 1996. He and his team introduced o number of initiatives to the industry. Intensive employee training (248 hrs/p/year) and becoming partner to the company were among them.
He introduced ICCO to the Turkish industry and encouraged colleagues to be part of this international community by founding PRCI (Public Relations Consultancies Inc. of Turkey) (Then it became IDA Communication Consultancies Association) During his chairmanship of PRCI, Turkey had become the 12th member of ICCO in 1998 and also was the very first country other than England to recognize independent audit and members of PRCI certificated by DNV in 1999.
Salim’s highly acclaimed industry initiatives included; benchmark meetings among PRCI/IDA members, on client relations, media measurement, training and development programs of consultancies, webPR, crisis communications, internal communications; a very comprehensive training program with London School of Public Relations for the young professionals, as well as a 12 weeks internship program for the students. In the early days of 2000’s, he leads the establishment of PRNET media measurement company. PRNET, pioneered in reporting by providing data through internet which included over 300 parameters and was available the very next day for the clients.

RepMan Reputation Research Center
Salim developed a research model named RepMan to measure the reputation performance of companies and industries at the beginning of 2000’s. He granted GfK, the international independent research company, to conduct professional research with this model and more than 100 projects completed until now. As of 2016 this model has been granted to ZENNA Corporate Research and Consultancy. On the other hand Salim created the RepMan Reputation Research Center, a not-for-profit platform, where panel discussions, forums, brain storming sessions, industry researches are organized free of charge to the interested parties.

He used to be an active membership in Turkish Corporate Governance Association, Bugday Ecological Transformation Association. He was a faculty member at the School of Communications, at Bahcesehir University in Istanbul/Turkey 2008-2014. He has been a faculty member at the İzmir Economics University Graduate courses since 2020. Kadibesegil regularly writes articles for monthly BrandMap, Business Life, Inc.Turkey and quarterly Inc. magazine of Turkish Ethics and Reputation Society. He is not ver active with his company since 2014. He lives in Alacati, Izmir and runs a blog in which he names himself as a “world citizen”.
