Communication is built on the reliability of information and resources. The principles of transparency and impartiality give “confidence” to communication management. Today, more than ever, we need the credibility of information and sources as the medium of communication creates a “disinformation society.” When we look at the obstacles in front of the quality of communication, the “emotionality” factor comes first. Communication may serve perceptions that are dominated by emotions rather than facts, but they may fall apart in the wall of “reputation” after a while. The second obstacle is that our identity of “belonging to one side” always affects the direction of communication! The third obstacle is that feedback cannot be accounted for or ignored. However, the convictions are hidden in this feedback!
The reputation of the communication source naturally influences the messages. “No one” will give credence to information from an untrusted source, regardless of tone and volume.
